More often than not, youth find themselves in a state of dilemma before making important decisions in their lives. Generally, everyone seeks advice from those with knowledge or experienced before deciding on any Matter.
Being rational individuals, people always want to get what’s best for them. Shouldn’t the same logic be applied while choosing a career, or changing career paths, which is supposedly a big decision one makes in one’s life?
Empowerment
Youth empowerment is a process where children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives. They do this by addressing their situation and then take action in order to improve their access to resources and transform their consciousness through their beliefs, values, and attitudes.
Youth empowerment aims to improve quality of life. Youth empowerment is achieved through participation in youth empowerment programs.
Career Exhibitions
an event in which employers, recruiters, and schools give information to potential employees. Job seekers attend these while trying to make a good impression to potential coworkers by speaking face-to-face with one another, filling out resumes, and asking questions in attempt to get a good feel on the work needed.
Fully interactive, innovative, fun, educational and entertaining, it suits adults, students, children and families of any age.
ABOUT
Ikamva Lesizwe Youth Empowerment Agency which was established in July 2015 registered in 2019, is an alliance of diverse self-governing voluntary organizations (non-governmental organizations, community-based organizations, It unites civil society in the common pursuit of uniting, ensuring possible growth and development for all, with emphasis on publicly- funded development.
The Ikamva Lesizwe Youth Empowerment Agency's founding aim was to ensure that the conflict, differences between young people and local communities would be resolved and the unemployment would be eradicated, of which that would result in concrete commitments and viable policies designed to implement the empowerment and development for All goals, including gender equity by 2020, universal enrolment in and completion of young people being able to create their own job opportunities, giving back to the communities and by 2020. Ikamva Lesizwe Youth Empowerment Agency committed itself to the building of an empowering movement, one with minimal bureaucracy and with a long-term commitment to monitor the achievement of the youth people’s goals. The campaign intends to continue its advocacy work until development for all is achieved.
